[1] Introduction

Eşref Armağan was born in Turkey with no eyes. Since childhood, he has made visual images, and has developed remarkable abilities to include colour and depth in his work. He has painted complex buildings and scenes with complex perspectives. First and foremost, he wants to be recognised as an artist, while many of us are guilty of simply wondering how he does it.

Note on the name Eşref Armağan

Because the name is Turkish, there are a couple of symbols there that may need some explanation.
His first name, Eşref, pronounced Eshref, is spelt E, s-cedilla, r, e, f. Some people may have problems displaying or reading the s-cedilla character.
His last name, Armağan, roughly pronounced Armahan, is spelt A, r, m, a, g-breve, a, n. The g-breve character looks like a g with a squiggle over it, and in Turkish it's more like a glottal stop than a g.
